It is great to see what God is doing at Faith here in Exeter, NH! After the last year and a half, our series from the book of Acts has finally come to an end. Pastor Steve and I are so blessed to have a church that allows us to pour over the scriptures week in and week out in the form of a series like this. Unfortunately, Pastor Steve was not able to be at Faith this weekend, so I had the privilege of preaching this final sermon from Acts. This also meant that others took over the reigns in terms of leading the music and it was a true blessing to be a part of the congregational singing and sitting with my family in worship. Chapel + Gathering Recaps – January 20, 2013

Variety is a great thing. Variety allows things to not grow stagnant from one week to another. Last Sunday, our music team consisted of multiple acoustic guitars, a bass guitar, a hand drum player, and had an upbeat, organic, sort of Mumford-y sound to it. Yesterday, we went with a full band and sang a lot of familiar, Faith favorites. Overall a great Sunday from top to bottom.  Through liturgy, song, communion, prayer, and sermon we worshipped a God who never fails. It was great to create a set-list this past week without thinking of Advent or Christmas themes. As much as I LOVE that season and the music associated with it, it was awesome to sing some Faith favorites this past Sunday. Our OgN team led worship and it was a true foot stompin’ good time.
